A fulfillment base in Japan — hold stock, ship fast, show up.
Japanese buyers expect short lead times and product on the shelf. Without a domestic warehouse, every order becomes a weeks-long import cycle — and deals go to suppliers already stocked locally. newji gives overseas companies a warehouse and logistics arm in Japan, so you can serve Japanese buyers as if you were already there, including sending inventory to trade shows and exhibitions on your behalf.
No Japanese entity required · Domestic receiving, storage & shipping · Trade-show logistics handled end to end

The fulfillment gap costs overseas manufacturers real deals
If your Japanese prospect has to wait four to eight weeks for an import shipment every time they place an order, they will eventually find a supplier who already has stock in-country. This service closes that gap.
Overseas maker with Japanese buyers
You have interest in Japan but no domestic stock. Every order triggers a full import cycle, making lead times uncompetitive.
Brand losing deals to lead time
Your product is the right fit but Japanese procurement departments cannot wait. A domestic buffer stock would close those deals.
Exhibitor attending Japanese trade shows
You exhibit at Makuhari Messe, Tokyo Big Sight or regional shows and need booth stock handled, replenished and retrieved without shipping from overseas each time.
Company testing Japan before committing
You are not ready to set up a local entity or lease your own warehouse yet, but you need to test demand with real product available for fast delivery.
Inventory, shipping and trade-show logistics — under one roof
Use all three as a complete Japan fulfillment operation, or start with the area you need most urgently.

From your factory to your Japanese buyer — a clear, managed flow
We act as the operations layer between your production and your Japanese customers, so your team does not need to manage domestic logistics from overseas.
Import & receive into Japan
We coordinate inbound logistics from your factory or freight forwarder, receive your shipment at our Japan warehouse, and log every SKU on arrival.
Store with full inventory visibility
Stock sits in our facility with SKU-level tracking. We share a live inventory report so you always know what is on hand and when to trigger a restocking shipment.
Receive orders from buyers
Orders reach us directly from your Japanese buyers — or through newji's Sales Representation team acting as your in-country sales arm. No manual relay from your head office required.
Pick, pack & ship on short lead times
We fulfill same-day or next-business-day, with Japanese-language documentation. Trade-show orders get parallel handling: delivery to venue, on-site replenishment, and post-show retrieval.

Common questions about Japan fulfillment
Do we need a Japanese legal entity to use this service?
No. That is a core reason companies use this service. newji receives stock, fulfills orders and manages trade-show logistics on your behalf in Japan. You do not need a registered subsidiary, a local office or a Japanese importer of record to get started — though for larger, ongoing operations we can advise on the right long-term structure.
Can you import our products from overseas on our behalf?
Import and customs clearance depend on your product category, origin country and the commercial terms between your company and your Japanese buyers. In many cases we can coordinate with a licensed customs broker and freight forwarder to bring stock into the warehouse. Please consult with us — we will assess your specific situation and confirm what is feasible before you commit.
Who handles customs duties and import documentation?
We work with experienced customs brokers and can advise you on the documentation your product requires (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any product-specific certificates). Duty liability and payment terms depend on the commercial arrangement — we will walk through the options with you during the consultation.
Can we combine this with your sales representation service?
Yes — and that is exactly the point. When our Sales Representation team brings in a Japanese buyer order, it feeds directly into the warehouse for fulfillment. The full loop — outreach, sales, holding stock, shipping and trade-show presence — runs through one partner rather than three. Companies using both services avoid the coordination overhead that comes from managing a sales agent and a logistics partner separately.
